GeneralWhat postal system do you use ?We use Registered Post from An Post which provides Insurance and delivery tracking. A signature is required on delivery so we will email the tracking number on despatch. Do you post outside Ireland ?No, this service is only available within the island of Ireland. How soon will I get my order delivered ?We will try to turn your order around within three working days. However, please allow 14 days for delivery before contacting us. Will I get the original tapes back ?Yes, all tapes are returned with your new digital media Can I pay by cheque ?No, to keep costs down we only use PayPal allowing payment by credit card or PayPal balance. VideoWhat kind of tapes can I send ?We can only process VHS, Mini DV or Video8 8mm analogue camcorder tapes .
How much video will fit on a DVD ?As the quality of video tape is less than that of DVD we can get up to three hours of your converted video per DVD (five hours for tape recorded using long play mode). What will my DVD look like ?We use DVD-R supplied in a standard black DVD case with a laser-printed cover. The cover will have the title you have given us on the front and down the spine and the background will be a still from your video. As standard the video will be on a single track accessed by a single moving image menu button. There will be chapter markers every five minutes to allow you to easily skip through the DVD. Can I get more elaborate menus on the DVD ?Yes. For an extra payment you can ask us to split the video into different tracks each accessed separately by a menu item on the DVD. Can you edit video ?You can ask for advertisments to be removed from recordings. For any other editing requirements please contact us with details and we will give you a price. What happens if I have several tapes with only a small amount of video on each ?In order to keep our pricing simple and competitive we charge per tape. However , you have the option of specifying that two or more tapes may be combined onto a single DVD. If we do this, we will create a menu allowing access to the different videos for no extra charge. AudioWhat format will the CD be in ?You need to specify either MP3 or traditional CD when you order. How will the CD be supplied ?In a jewel case with a laser-printed insert bearing the title you gave us Will the converted audio be a single track or will each item be a separate track ?As standard all the audio on the cassette will be written to a CD as a single track. For an extra payment you can opt to have different songs etc split into separate tracks. Terms
